i m curios about something ....
i m at the 3 castle limit, which means i can no longer make any others.
but there are people on my realm with more than 3 castles .... why werent they reduced to 3 castles, so we are all on even grounds ???
why are some allowed to retain their 10+ castles ?
...or is there some way to build more than 3 castles? ...is there?
if so, please tell me how to make more than 3
if one cannot currently own over 3, then please, make all players with more than 3 castles reduced back down to 3!
it isnt fair to allow some to have over-the-limit castles!
also, ,limit the ammount of forests / mountains one may own to 2x or 3x the numbers of castles!
i have peeps in my realm with over 90 (!!!!) forests / mountains

in any strategy game, the power of players is limited by the devs of that game in some ways (time constraints/ supply constraints/ build constranints etc
right now, in Castlecraft, older players have litteraly, 99% of ENTIRE map taken !
because of this and because of infinite supply (they can move troops out of town and make infinite new numbers), they aremt defeatable
currently tho, after roughly 15 different rerollings on 15 different realms, i learned there is no ,,l2p'', ,, make an alliance'' etc to deal with this
i think aztec s idea of limiting resources is right!
10 or 20 at most is reasonable!
10 mountains/ forets limitations, would do a world of good by:
- leaving rest of map resources for others to take, thus helping to level the field
- prevent boredom where 1 bully takes entire map
- prevent the imbalance ,,first come first served''
- entices people to develop and fight: one would have more courage fighting an enemy he knows can defeat some day, rather than play a never ending catch-up to the guy who allready owns entire map
gets 100x worse if there is an alliance of 3 - 4 heavy hitters who own the map!
balance shouldnt be left to players, but to devs !!!!!!!
its their game, their job to mentain a leveled plaing field !!!!!
PS: What the f**** is with these auto savings that take me away from writting ffs ?!?
Players who worked to obtain their cities before the restriction were allowed to keep them. However if they lose them they cannot get them back. As far as further updates go you'll just have to be patient for that kind of info!
then would you please be kind enough to publish (on forums...or send players via an email notification etc) what those realms are with such god plyaers, so we can avoid them like the plague ?
its totally unfair for a newbie to go head to head with a guy owning 50 castles + (saw one night someone bragging with 100 castles !!!!!!!)

trust me, your income ( REAL money) would greatly increase if people would have incentive to fight
currently, there is no incentive to fight such god players, with 50 k + troops, because you ll never be able to take them head on, especially if they too have an alliance
there is no ,,l2p'' to help this issue
i wanted to buy an expensive cristal pack, but then gave up --- it will be useless vs the guy with 80 k + troops and 50 castles anyway
and i dont wanna spend my entire paycheck on some game either
you re actually LOSING money the more you descourage people from playing, by allowing some few privillegd players to retain their godly advantages

I agree with Thor and others.. . Implement restrictions on forests/mountains ... Also troops. Whats the point of having food when it's Ot being consumed by troops.. . As per ur population and food we should be allowed to train troops accordingly... Otherwise some guys will have never ending army of sauron making them invincible.
Plz work towards these things ASAP.
From an old player I agree now that having a cap would be good on forest mountains similar to the city cap. I have realms that I have totally dominated and have 10 cities but over 700 resources, and that is after giving loads away!
I've said before there needs to be a limit on forests and mountains to give everyone A chance. One big issue I have is there's no identity given on a cities Name to which player it belongs too? Think it should say not just city name but which player It belongs to. This will avoid attacking a city which belongs to a big player that would crush you
As an player from before the limitations, I would ask those who are screaming for limitations the following question: "How can I protect my 10 surplus cities when subjected to a limit on troops?"
Cities that are conquered from me can't be taken back by me. The only way to proted myself is maximise defenses, building all cities to fully level 5 and station a large army inside them. I am entitled to protect my hard labour and effort or not.
This game is only about domination, this is the real problem. Who is the strongest, the biggest, the most cunning. Who is the one that rules a realm.
It is not impossible to be the next number one in a established realm. I did it myself. It's an evolutionary process instead of a revolution.
The time needed depends on the number of dominating players versus the number of active players (new users only!).
The more the numbers that the numbers are infavour off the dominating ones, the time it takes to be the new number one.
The question should be (according to me). How do you get a actractive game for the long run bearing in mind that you have à mix of new players and players that are longer active in a realm (no period of time mentioned!).
Subjecting the game to a serious bunch of limitations? Remember cities 4 to 10 need to be conquered meaning, someone else has converted a resource into a city (for you).
Consequnce, the weaker ones that are just starting are creating cities for those who are stronger and not yet reached the limits.
Frustrating as long as you are one of the little players. In this case the number of players must be taken into account. If you only want to lose a few cities then there must a continious flow of new players who are playing for a longer period of time (atractiveness). At this moment there are alot of inactive players in the realms.
And if you have reached all limits, how does one protect himself. Strength lies still in numbers. Those who have more cities can rebuild, so smash the ones that can take cities from you and rebuild faster. And if a city is taken from you, you just take one from a weaker player.
In this game that is all about domination subjecting every aspect of the game to limitations is not the awnser. Domination is being stronger in one way or another. This requiers weaker players, subsequently players that feel victim of the stronger ones, caling them bullies, unfair etc. And asking for a change of rules.
In a game that evolves rules are changed. But do the new asked for, change the fact that this game is solely about donination, the dominator and those being dominated, everyone wanting to be the dominator because being dominated is no fun? And is changing the the dominating part of this game not equal to change the essence of this game. The way this game is.
Two years ago i choise to play this game, I choose to find myself a realm in where I could grow in time out of the role of the dominated.
This is how I stand towards this game and why I choose it to play for the long run and got somewhere lucky along.
