Player ID

I think when you select another city on map it should tell you the owners player name as well as city name. If the only way to gain more cities once you've got 3 is to take another's players one I want to know who it is incase there a very big player and I'll lose everything in no time! At the moment your gambling big time on what city you attack. Plus I keep getting attacked but won't say who??? Why is this? It would help so I could go and counter attack instead of just waiting to defend again!!

As a new player, I have found some things that may help you:
First: scouting. This helps show how strong of an army you will be fighting against.
Next: the "friend" button. It is an option that pops up when you click an enemy's town. If you press this option, it will show the owner of the town's ID. You font have to add them as a friend, but you can see their ID.
About your last question: this is true, but it is an advantage you also have if you attack another city. However, if you have a resource/ secondary city taken from you, you can obviously retaliate by attacking that resource/ secondary city back.
    I hope I helped!

Same here. Does anyone know why? Are they using more scouts or A cheat?

If you click on the city and select message it will tell you who owns that city. Alternatively use your scouts.
